Dr. Stephen Raines is from Union City, Tennessee and his wife is from Dyersburg. He received a B.S. degree in zoology from the University of Tennessee at Martin. His Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine was obtained at the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine. Much of his training was received at Billings Hospital and Wyler Children Hospital at the University of Chicago. Further training was obtained in Paducah and Mayfield Community Hospital. Dr. Raines established Raines Foot Clinic in 1981. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Raines has served as a preceptor for training graduates of the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Raines is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine. He is also a Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association.

 

 

Dr. Elizabeth Lu is from Napa, California. She received her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Occidental College where she played as starting point guard on the women's basketball team. She then completed her master's degree in Exercise Physiology at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. She coached Junior High and High School basketball for five years. Her interest in sports injuries led her to the California College of Podiatric Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Lu completed her residency in foot and ankle surgery at the Mineral Area Regional Medical Center. Her podiatry practice consists of treatment of diseases and disorders of the foot and ankle. Dr. Lu is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association.
